I've decided to post my old blogs from when I was in Uganda onto this blog, just so that I can have them archived on here and so that ya'll can read them, if you so choose.
Because I haven't figured out how to change the chronological order, they will be posted as my most recent blogs. My "Uganda Posts" are not recent. I will post the date they were originally written above the text with the title.
Happy reading!

To my dearly devoted blog readers,
Congratulations! You have made it to the end of my Uganda journey. This is my last blog while in Uganda (I think), and I will soon be home in the States. Even as I’m sitting here writing the blog, I don’t know what I’m going to say. I want to tell you what Africa is like, but there is no combination of words man can compose to express Africa’s true nature. I want to tell you how much I love it here, but there is no amount of time large enough for me to pour out my heart fully for you. But here is the smallest glimpse.
God is looked at so differently here; He is not your ticket into Heaven, but your rescuer. The need for God is plainly evident, and the desire for God is strong. God’s strength here is so mighty. He breaks ancestral strongholds in a minute. He speaks life into a person and they become what He speaks. God’s name here is so holy. Truly, speaking the name of Jesus sends demons running and shrieking, and the people here believe that. You don’t find faith in His name this strong in America often enough. God here is so black and white. Either you are with Him or you are against Him, there is no in-between.
